As you can see, I took a little trip to Dublin earlier this month. And this post is basically going to be a little piece of that.
Before I left, I decided to make myself a nice little ankle pouch to carry some money in, so I didn't need to have all of my money in my purse.
I took a piece of material, a needle, some thread some scissors, and a cup of tea (trust me, thats very important!) and went about crafting. Now, I'm certainly not the best seamstress, but where this pouch was going to be deep in my boot at all times, it didn't matter how badly it looked.
My handiwork. Looks bad, but was very useful.
And there is is around my ankle.
Then I also decided to paint my nails. After trying out a few different designs, I decided to go for a simple black with a single green rhinestone on each finger. Apart from on my ring finger, where I put 2 gold rhinestones and a little gold heart.
My reasoning behind this: once upon a time I read in a women's magazine that if you're a single girl, you should make the nail on your ring finger look different to draw attention to the lack of ring and, therefore, your singleness. Now, this is completely false.
Why? Because in what world would a guy notice a different design on one finger? And even if they did, they'd never put it together with being a single pringle. Much too girlie an idea.
But I just really like having one finger different to the others, without it being the thumb.
Dublin nails. Pretty, no?
And now I'm going to just put a few pictures from my time in Dublin. They're mostly of the zoo, because I liked the animals. So cute. Oh and Guinness. I do like Guinness. Be prepared for lots and lots of photographs now.
Hello Guinness.
Goodbye Guinness.
"And I stand at the gates screaming 'I am not afraid' but there's no-one listening to me." ....Only because they'd think I was drunk after spending too long at the Guinness Storehouse. =]
