Steampunk Stuff

I have so much to talk about, but I think I'm going to split it into a few shorter posts.
For today : Steampunk stuff.

So I was in a play and I was playing a steampunk-military-domanatrix-esque Duke. I decided that I wanted nails to go with the look. And this is how they ended up:

Layer of black polish, sweep of green polish, golden cogs and lines of glitter.

I had so much fun doing these. Then again I always have fun doing nail art designs. But these even more so, because when I started them, I had no plan of what I wanted to do on them. Just something dark. I really do love these nails very much, and have to admit they are probably the favourite nails I have ever worn.

Then, for another character in the same play, I got to wear a very awesome leather top hat and steampunk goggles. These were leant to us by the guy who made them. He came to see our show on the last night and we had the chance to buy stuff. So I did just that.

In the performance, I wore the goggles around the hat in place of the leather band.

The octopus on the leather hat band. It's a little scary but very awesome.

The goggles. How awesome are they?

So yeah, that's about it for my steampunk post. I think my next post may be about my birthday, which was on the Friday just gone, and all of the awesome things I got.

Peace out, guys & gals. =]

  2. Gorgeous nails!
That hat is AMAZING. I love a bit of steampunk, although I'd never carry it off, this would be the most fun thing to wear on your head =)
I hope the play went very well!

    1. Thankyou!

Aha yeah as soon as we were told we could buy the accessories we were allowed to wear, I knew I was buying the hat.
Fortunately, I go to enough folk festivals to wear it out. ^^

It actually went very well, thanks. =]
